Position Overview:

If you have an eye for accuracy, a passion for design, and a flair for creativity and customer service, then picture yourself at Budget Printing Company! Our Creative department is a small powerhouse of hardworking creatives who execute content on tight deadlines with consistent brand clarity. Join us as a Print Office Director to support our print and digital marketing efforts for our wonderful clientel and customer walk-ins This position is on-site, and we are looking for people who share our passion for great design and quality print.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and create templates for consistency and file quality to use in print and digital media.
  • Produce, correct, preflight, and output files for offset and digital presses.
  • Create soft and hard copy proofs for internal rand customer eview.
  • Ensure consistency of database information, file structure, and archiving.
  • Produce modern, classic and quality design print collateral pieces that maintain the creative integrity of the approved concept.
  • Take customer orders in person, over the phone and via email. Must be able to communicate well with others and relate information to our Project & Business Manager.
  • Write up customer print orders and enter into our billing system.
  • Take customer payments.


Applicant Preferred Qualitfications:

  • Associate degree in graphic arts or comparable qualifications.
  • 1-2 years of experience in prepress production and design is a plus.
  • Solid technical understanding of Adobe Creative Suites and macOS.
  • Understanding of Intuit Quickbooks is a plus.
  • Ability to recognize and visually differentiate colors.
  • Excellent proofing skills with an ability to read and apply math functions.
  • Ability to create and post to Social Media.
  • Ability to write and craft newsletters.
  • Happy to train the right applicant.
